| 感想文等 | これは、「新仕置人」としては非常に異色な感じのするエピソード。まるで、最初期の「仕掛人」とか、或いは「仕留人」「仕置屋」あるいは「仕業人」ならなんとか、というダークな背景設定のある重苦しいプロットなのだ。
表面上の「悪役」はベタでオーソドックス、旅物でもあるので、「仕置屋」の「一筆啓上手練が見えた」を思わせる部分もある。
それが、仕置も終わり、ただ……聞いておきたいことがあるのだ、と主水が最後の最後に問うところで暗転が起きる。
いったい、「加害者」と言える者は誰だったのか、と。
索漠としたラストシーンは、仕掛人往時の映画本編のような陰鬱さなのだ。(おっぺ)
