| 感想文等 | 第１部胎動・第２部接触・第３部発動と分かれている。イデオンですか、というのはさておき、第１部は個人的に非常に面白かった。それが第２部以降、面白いことは面白いのだが別種のもの、そして個人的には面白さの量も減じてしまっていたのが残念だ。
もちろん、個人的なことであり、読み手によって異なる感じ方だろう。
では、全編を第１部にしてしまい、３人の主人公がそれぞれ「殺人の門」を越えてしまったところで終わりにしていればよかったかといえば、そういう単純なことでないのも勿論なのだ。
貫井ミステリとしての叙述トリックも切れ味は大したレベルではない。
ただ、接触編から発動編に流れていく中、唯一微かにだがスリリングに感じられていたのは、神原についてなのだ。
作者としても、だからこそ神原のみを一人称で描いたのではないかとも思うのだが……。(本岡家)
